I recently started using and toying with my Google Voice account. I must say it is one of the most fun, exciting, kick ass programs I have toyed with in some time. I recommend you check out Google Voice, you may not get an invite for awhile, but it is well worth the wait. Fantasy Football is right around the corner, which means the NFL Season is too. Research, research, research. I won our league last year and I hope to at least make the playoff's this year. Our draft is Aug. 30th, less than three weeks away! I will be discussing Google Voice with our Fantasy Football League, I know of only a few people that have a Google Voice account, one of them is in our Fantasy Football League.

I need to mow the grass and I plan on doing so today. The boys are up before 7am and I see that it is almost foggy outside. It looks like it just rained or is going to rain any minute. Typical, for I have put off mowing till today and the weather channel says the next 6 days is rain. I should of mowed yesterday or the day before yesterday but I didn't. So now I am stuck hoping to be able to mow before the rain comes. Maybe I could just spray the entire yard with weed killer.

The 4th of July - there is something about being excited all day waiting to see fireworks. We are going out tonight to the local fireworks show and see how the boys do. My guess is they will either be asleep or will be afraid of the sounds. I hope they end up enjoying the show and have a good time out late with the family. Hope you have a great 4th of July too!

the 4th of July will be here soon and this brings a 3 day vacation to me. we are always closed for the 4th - this year it happens to fall on a Saturday. I have no idea what the family is going to do - I'm just happy the family is together.

I had a great time with family, friends and the fish. I caught the biggest fish: 5 lbs 3 oz. My father caught the most fish and I did catch the first fish of the trip. Catching the first fish says little because I was catching fish before the two in the boat had even begun to fish. I hope to do this again sometime and hopefully next year as well. Maybe we started a new "Father's Day Tradition!"

I am taking a fishing trip this weekend, we leave Saturday morning. My best friend, my brother's and my father are all going. It is a fathers day weekend fishing trip - no kids - no wifes - just the guys... Just the guys... Who the hell is going to cook? What if I need something, no wife? Maybe this isn't the best idea I've had... hehehe

Rain has arrived and so have the flood waters. They are not bad as of yet, but things are starting to flood fast. This was the first day of rain and more is coming over the next few days. We went through this last year, was horrible for the fishing. Annette and I got the garden done just in time today. Minuets after we finished planting the rain began. At least we do not have to water for a few days. I love the rain, keeps everything growing and I don't have to water, but I hope we don't get to much rain. Rain Rain go Away... we may be singing this by the end of the week.

I just figured out how to sync my google contacts and calendar with my MotoQ !! I had tried this before from my laptop to my phone with no luck. S omehow I came upon how to sync Google Calendar. S o I look around, find the "How To" page and see if it is possible. I use my phone's sync icon - to then sync with Google and Wham! I don't even have duplicate contacts, it merged them together. Y ou gotta love Google!

I didn't get much sleep Wednesday night, mowed all day and wore new shoes to work. Add all that together and you have a tired man with sore feet. I'm driving home and Ferg ask if I'm up for a road trip. His mother-in-law bought a display TV and the remote was the wrong remote. I come home, give Wyatt a bath and rock Garrett till he fell asleep in my arms. I get dressed as Ferg is waiting for me in the driveway and off to Wal-Mart we go. N ow if you know Ferg and I - nothing takes "just a few min's" - why our wives decided to let us go to Wal-Mart at 10:30pm is besides me. Three hours later, we are on our way home. O h there is nothing like a good road trip. =)

The last table I had tonight was a med student from Chicago. Right away I could tell (as he was telling me so) that he was spoiled and his parents have been paying his way through school. He was saying that by the time he is a "real" doctor he will be $250,000 in debt. I don't have nearly that amount of debt as a family with two kids. I know I don't make the money he will eventually make, but come on... Oh to be me...

How are you suppose to keep track of all the different places you may have at one time posted something to? I love Twitter and they ease of use for posting to Facebook , but I'm very seldom on Facebook . I post via Twitter knowing my family & friends will then receive a text showing my newly posted Tweet. So again I ask, How are you suppose to keep track of it all? How do I use Blogger and Twitter all the while uploading new pics to Picasa and YouTube?

I had a great night at work tonight. The people were great, the money was greater and now I feel like I did something that mattered tonight. Work can be a little boring at times. As soon as you let work get boring, the money goes down. Though when you are busy like tonight, its not boring and you work even harder. Which in return, produces more money. Now anyone that has ever been a Waitress or Waiter knows exactly what I mean. The good night are great and the bad nights are terrible. I'm just glad work wasn't boring tonight.

So how can someone like myself go almost a year without posting to his blog. I have no idea, but I know that there is to much on the internet. How come I can't post to everything at once? Twitter, email, texting, blogs and whoever wants to read/listen. I have to much to think about, to much to decide and to much to much. I want to post, I want to keep everything updated and yet I will find a way to lose touch with one or more of my favorite "post" sites. Oh well... for now I am addicted to Twitter and tomorrow it could be something else.

How time escapes me is beyond my understanding. I wanted to let everyone know that Garrett Levi was born June 06, 2007 - 9 lbs 2.5 oz - Here it is June 26th (the release of iPhone) and I am just now finding my way to my blog to talk about my new son. Mom and baby are doing great and Wyatt is taking very well to being the big brother now. He will only say "baby" and has even quit saying "brother." Wyatt is so cute you have to see him to really understand. I think this is the case for everyone's kid, the cutter they get, the more you want to prove to someone. Then you have the morning of April 17th. (which just happens to be last day to file your taxes) Wyatt woke up around 4 am. This happens to be about 30 min's after I went to sleep. Wyatt woke up screaming. And screaming and screaming and screaming. I was to the point of just sending him to the ER so I wouldn't have to listen to his screaming any more. This is where my wonderful wife comes in. Oh yes, she is wonderful, so wonderful I'm not really sure how she does it. She was holding him the entire time he was screaming. I on the other had was trying my hardest not to yell at him for I knew this would do no good. Around 7 am he was better, sort of. How was he better you may ask? Well, I fell asleep finally. I have My Space, well I don't have it, I just use it. I am now using FaceBook. I can't tell which is better. I think FaceBook is simpler and doesn't have (as of yet) all the BS that comes with My Space. If I had to vote today... I would vote FaceBook. Simpler, easier perhaps and none of the annoying BS.
